DrumPi is currently in beta — which means it's fully functional, but still evolving. You might encounter a few rough edges as we continue to improve stability, add features, and squash bugs.
Your feedback during this phase is incredibly valuable!

Also, this version will stop working in January 2025.

This is because we want you to stay up to date and download new versions during this development stage.

Also, DrumPi won’t stay free forever—it required, and still requires, a substantial effort, and it needs to be financially sustainable, otherwise its development might just stop.

Don’t worry though, DrumPi’s goal remains the same: electronic drums must stay very affordable.

So the final price will reflect that principle.

  1. By default, it is configured for the IQAudio DAC Pro. If you're using a different audio card, please set it up in the settings page.

  2. When selecting the device to open, always prefer the "Direct hardware device without any conversion" option as it offers the lowest latency.

DrumPi comes with two kits included:

  • Yamaha 9000 Recording Custom from 1989

  • Tama Startclassic Maple sampled by Stephen Mackrill.

Enjoy!
